What’s the craic with just buying tickets for me pal, not a lads fan or owt up from Essex and wants to tan along. Can he just rock up to ticket office and buy himself or will I need to sort him out?
A purchase history ir required, I believe, but surely you can help him with that. If unable to, I will for you
Once again, the communication from the club is a joke. You'd think, with a few days to go until our season opener and the lower bowl practically sold out, they'd be all over social media encouraging people to get tickets and getting the PC opened back up with a bit of a fanfare. but no. just silence from them. as usual KLD has a LOT of work to do on the supporter engagement side of things - Chris Waters can't do it all on his own
Queue outside ticket office is long and it moves slowly. Got the g'kids with me so gone to the beach. Hope the Queue is shorter in a couple of hours.
Who buys tickets in person these days? These will be the same folk moaning when they can't get cup/play off tickets because they have no purchase history Doubt I've even been in teh ticket office in the last 10 years Bonkers
This question, TopCat, has recently been asked, and adequately answered, mainly by people who care and/or understand other fans' needs, which will not be the same as someone who has no need to physically go to the ticket office or who doesn't give a toss about the needs of others You should, perhaps, bear in mind the fact that buying tickets is not always an easy process for everybody, even if it is for you !
I haven't been down for a while but if some random security guard has gone on like that then it's pretty ****e.
This question Gordon is open to debate. There are people who could easily purchase online but choose not to do so for their own reasons, but then moan the "old fashioned" ways of buying are suddenly understaffed and inconvenient. Jesus, even the antiquated Rail Industry has gone to digital tickets, why do people think football clubs are obliged to sell tickets over the counter?
What the hell is going on off the pitch at the club at the minute? Loads of bother with the club shop and the ticket office? Is this a backlash off the Donald and Methven era or what?
It all sounds a right mess, sending a heavy out (if true of course), to people queuing up to sort ticket problems out with kids to tow. Davison has been in post long enough to have sorted this out and have enough staff to open longer hours. I can only assume he is incompetent
