You've got yourself a few problems here. This site is turning into a dog, rapidly. On this forum particularly it appears down to the terrible modderation in place. It seems that the mods have been selected on a first come first appointed basis, which in all fairness is a truely **** way to do things.

Forums like these need to have a large base of regular uses to sustain viability, with the current institution in place, this is not going to happen. You have seen tonight on this forum that people are fed up with the pathetic moderation and changes need to be made.

I suggest that action is taken swiftly to ensure the survival of these forums with changes from top to bottom, including new rules, moderation methods and procedures, New revenue streams and a change in culture.

 

its only a **** site if you make it that, you comment nicely you'll get a nice site simple as that - ive had no problems with it

 

Yes, but it's turning into a dog. It has massive potential, but the people running this forum don't know how to maximise that potential.

Deleting threads with no valid reason. One was a link to Claus' Movember charity link. Disgusting.

 

TBF, Syd's a good bloke but him & me are having a tiff ATM.

Get rid of beddytare he is single handedly wrecking this site. Banter should be allowed and to be fair it is tame compared to the carnage on general chat.

I'm not going to create a business plan for them. I know exactly what i'd do, but not going to do the work for these guys. There is nothing wrong with the termanology I have used.

Guys and gals I don't know what thread you are referring to you are all talkng about a "Claus thread" to do with the Movember charity......I can find no trace of such a thread.....According to st_brendy and channonfodder neither have deleted such a thread and I certainly have not. We don't mind taking responsibility for something we did do but not for something we did not do. Incidentally if we could find the post even if it had been deleted we could restore it (I think) I can find no trace.....

 

Could it have been a super mod? Or another mod?

 

100% the thread existed because I commented it, in jest, saying it should be banned as it was not SFC related.

 

I commented on it as well.
