Well that was a surprise! One of those games where everyone played well. Thought that Valery, Lyanco and Stephens all put in a great performance. Just hope it continues when it really matters. UTS.

I also thought we defended quite well first half given who we actually had in the defensive unit - an unfit Perraud, Valery, Stephens, Lyanco and seemingly at times Redmond. With McCarthy in goal. Could have been a car crash

Although Valery is starting to really impress in a back three

 

I thought that Lyanco was really good tonight too.

The much maligned Djenepo made a real difference when he came on.

 

Hope he will play something close to our strongest current 11. We have used the 3-5-2 a fair bit already so would be good to play our best 11 in our strongest formation, which I assume will be the 4-2-2-2 in Ralphs mind.

We have been playing both formations in the last 4 games with plenty of regularity.

 

It's almost as if Ralph knows what he's doing, and has got the players to understand how to make formation changes during a match.

 

A new perchase would stop those fish puns.

 

Really? I haven't watched but from everything I have read Ralph has been mainly sticking to the 3-5-2.

Is that not the case then?
