I'm generally not a Macca knocker but that's twice that he's been beaten low on his right hand side in the part of the goal he should've been covering.
Don’t think it was nearly as bad as the twitter gremlins would have you believe. And the context that it’s bloody pre-season, a second string team against UCL-qualifier opposition shouldn’t even need spelling out. We’ve been decent, but wouldn’t mind some better final third play (May as well have this copied and pasted for every game). I don’t think Diallo works as a deep-lying player. He’s best in the left of a 3 man midfield. Is this Minamino’s brother playing? Looks class.
Do people genuinely think that was bad? As in our second team is good enough to look better over a half against Monaco, but can’t score (which is no surprise).
Saturday should be fun. Our first team against a very good Villareal side - and hopefully an outing for Mara too.
