Its pretty much the Markelele poistion. Single 6 in a 3 man midfield. So you have 2 more attacking free 8s and then a destroyer that sweeps behind them.
Sounds a bit complicated. Unscientific I know but I just wonder if, accepting the premise that footballers aren't necessarily the brightest of fellows, there would be any merit it perhaps drilling into them the need to move the ball forward more quickly and accurately shoot more often. Sort of Bryan Robsonish?
Yes because two defensive midfielders and 5 defenders is very very defensive and probably only works if you have some absolutely outstanding forward players (and wing backs)
Or a double pivot with 1 CDM staying back and one going forward, like we had with Schneiderlin and Wanyama? I presume this lonesome player would have to be very good to provide enough cover? How does this fit into a 2-2-2 system?
We didn’t play a back three with Schneiderlin and Wanyama. This lonely 6 talk is for a 5-3-2. It seems unrelated to 4-2-2-2.
Match Day https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/...fc-as-monaco-pre-season-friendly-27-july-2022 The Monaco team are on their way in Flight Number ATV601H from Nice a Dash-8 D-AASH. It is due to arrive at 11:30 at Eastleigh. It would appear that the Monaco hierarchy are arriving in an earlier flight from Nice in a biz jet N8823B Global 5000 due around 11:00. How the other half live!
There are several Flight Tracker sites and Group lists where information can be gleaned, but you need to be careful, because there is also a lot of misinformation muddying the waters! FR24 is very useful though.
I started using it when I had to pick a succession of people up from Bristol Airport, and they started charging punitive amounts in the Drop and Go car park. Being able to track the flight to exact landing time made life so much easier (and cheaper!)
Stumbled across this whilst surfing the internet. https://new.soccerstreams-100.tv/ev...aco-at-southampton-live-soccer-streams/650411
No Bazunu or Mara, Mara perhaps to be expected as he only just signed. Also looks more like the second string starting but good to see Perraud back.
