Probably why he'll lose the DR. But doubt it's gen. I mean where can you go for a meal in Handsworth?
I’m surprised at how common snus is in football. I guess it’s nowhere near as bad as smoking ciggies or even vaping, since you’re inhaling smoke/vapour, but the fact a nicotine product is permitted at all is surprising. Strangest thing is, why would you use snus at all unless it was a quitting aid for smoking? I don’t understand why you’d do it, unless you were a former smoker who needed some nicotine for your cravings.
Is it even legal in the UK? I thought there was a EU (Yeah i know before some smart arse says) ban on it...
Anyone for a smart scarf? City fans all set for high-tech matchday upgrade Andy Martin please log in to view this image From the long-gone rattle to instant replays on smart phones, football fans have long marched happily in step with the technological upgrades that enhance their match-day experiences but now comes a gadget that offers to measure their emotional response through the humble supporters’ scarf. Select Manchester City fans will be offered a “smart scarf” next season, the latest in wearable technology that sees a biometric sensor integrated into the fabric to monitor emotional, physiological and movement data. Using an EmotiBit bio sensor that sits discreetly on the neck, The Connected Scarf, as it has been snappily dubbed, captures the body’s bio-signals throughout a match. please log in to view this image Young fans at Queen’s Park Rangers with rattle at the ready in 1949. Photograph: Manchester City/Cisco Ryan Shaw, a director of Octagon UK, which partnered with Cisco in the project, said The Connected Scarf would help them understand the physiological emotions fans go through. “Creating this technology from scratch has been an incredible journey, and we’re incredibly excited about how much this scarf can teach us about fans and club culture,” he said. Production and technology agency Unit9 also helped spearhead the initiative. The scarf will not be readily available to all fans yet as only a select number will be distributed to supporters of City and also those of their sister club New York City FC in the United States. “It’s a brilliant idea and gives us more of a special connection with the fans,” City defender Aymeric Laporte said in a statement.
I certainly did. Unless that is a Manchester publication, they can **** the **** off. In other news, why the **** would any fan want a scarf that lets the club monitor them. There's nothing in it for the fan. Although, I guess it could be a freebie. Not for me though.
I saw the headline here and thought us. Then thought what a daft idea. If I had read it elsewhere I wouldn’t have immediately thought of us. Wonder if anyone will be ejected if the emotion shown is anger?
What would happen if you got home still wearing said scarf then had a **** to celebrate that days win?
The Allams left us all a scarf on our seats at White Hart Lane, my scarf got the TwoWrights throw away.
Stolen from a FB city page. Brilliant I phoned Heart FM today, to enter their mystery prize competition. The presenter answered and said, "Congratulations on being our first caller, all you need to do is answer the following question correctly, to win our Mystery Grand Star Prize".. "That’s fantastic!" I called out in delight. "Feel Confident?" The presenter asked, "It's a Geography Question." "Well, I've got a degree in Geography from Oxford University," I proudly replied, "and I've taught Geography to A level students for the last 20 years" "Ok then, to win our grand prize of 2 VIP tickets to a Leeds United game and to meet the players after the game, what is the capital of France?" "Bradford", I replied.
