    Ladies Football

England v Sweden Euros Semi Final

Sweden on top with a direct approach but the right players in position to play this style. Swedes have had 3 good chances to England's 1 in the first 20 minutes.

As with the cricket last night, the ladies game has improved tremendously in skill, technique and fitness in recent years. Some good lookers too. Can I say that? <whistle>

Today, I have been mostly interested in what happened before the big bang.

No, no, no, no. It wasn't big foreplay!

I'm talking about the other big bang when our universe started.

So what would you say is your favourite cuisine then Aber?

I'm no gastronomical expert but if I was pushed to choose a specific nations food, as boring as it is I'd probably plump for Italian.

I do really enjoy Thai/Chinese type dishes too.

So will the religious teachings be chucked in the bin of science if the big bang proves 2 be just a chemical reaction that expanded from the nothing.

    Steady on Aber.
I'm still struggling with the whole concept of true "nothing".

I gave up struggling with the concept a long time ago.

I can't get my head around infinity.
A vucuum must be contained by something, surely?
Everything has to have an end hasnt it?
    How insignificant are we?

Nooooo, you've started me off again.
Need a lie down in a dark room.

    Welcome to my world!
I guess if you accept that the big bang was beginning of space and time, then true nothingness would also mean no time. As a result, perhaps we should stop considering what happened before the big bang as there was no before!!
Our whole understanding of physics being challenged and it's mind blowing.

Just watch Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, much more interesting and fun.

Clingo, no Python posts in the last week. Had to change that.

You will only get the whole nothing before being born and the time after our death.

Ah. But then it won't matter. So, in between those two events, I'm enjoying the capability to be confused, inspired and fascinated.
