You might want to look up what else was going on at those times… whoops you’ve been mugged off again.
Will be better than that womans football bland fest* @pompeymeowth to define what a woman is * I will not be watching either
I see that you have reverted to your brain dead four letter words just to make sure everyone recognises you as an unintelligent SNP Leftie. No chance of you putting something original with not much more than a two word vocabulary. You should certainly recognise a sh*tshow as the SNP is running one in Jockshire. In the unlikely event that Wee Jimmy McKrankie ever wins an IndyRef you will be rejoining the sinking ship and 60 per cent of your exports will be queuing at Hadrian’s Wall. No chance of any facts in a response from you. This “massive loss in exports” that you claim does not appear to be borne out by the facts. Our goods exports to the EU reached £16.4bn in April, their highest level since 1997. Those exports go to a declining market – 43 per cent of exports went to the EU in 2019 compared to 54 per cent in 2002. We run a trade deficit with the EU but a trade surplus with the rest of the world. So it seems that trading with the rest of the world is much more lucrative.
A global business that has no outlets in the EU. I bet they do not get any of their fashions manufactured in the EU either as Bangladeshi sweatshops are cheaper and better for profits. They could just stop selling to the EU if it is not worth their bother. There is the rest of the world to target if it is a global business. Sounds like a business that needs to be nationalised by the Official Raving Loony Party, the unions brought in to make sure all the workers get ten per cent annual pay rises and a three day working week while some scumbag billionaire must have got absolutely loaded, paid the Tories a few quid and is waiting for his seat in the Lords. Job cuts are not a problem. There are plenty of job vacancies out there. Some employers will even take on petulant Remainers, so long as they restrict their moaning to non-work hours.
You need to read a little more carefully ... we have both stores and outlets in many countries... but I referred to 'internet' sales ... these are facilitated from our main distribution centre ... in the UK ... the stores overseas would not have sufficient stock to service the number of internet sales we make ... this scenario is similar for many UK headquartered fashion retailers ... We are considering opening a European warehouse to facilitate the EU internet market ... if we were to do that it would, inevitably, lead to job cuts at our UK distribution centre ... welcome to Brexit. ... and our products are sourced from all over the world, including the EU. We are higher end of the fashion market and very ethically conscious with our sourcing ... there are no sweatshops in our supply chain. This was an educational production in the interests of combating Brexit stupidity.
