This Bass signing has came out of nowhere..I hope he comes out of his ....shell here. 3 year deal, he could be a.... star. With Bass, he had massive potential when he first broke into the Portsmouth team. He was linked to Prem teams at that point. Things haven't gone to plan for him in the last couple of years since then but this fits with part of our model in finding distressed assets and getting them on the right track again to re-establish their value. It's not massively different to Pritchard, Clarke and Roberts.
We all do to be fair. From time to time anyway. However, I do know we are still after broadhead and in negotiations. Just because Simms is imminent doesn't mean we don't want Broadhead.
