Not sure what some people expect, if Neil sees Patterson as number 1 you aren't going to get a top keeper to come in as number 2. This lad might be good for all we know
I was expecting either a new number 1 or an old/experienced number 2. This lad was is 24 and was at Bradford last year. I don't think he's either of the 2 things I expected.
The only reason I'd have preferred Parrot to Simms is his ability to play right across the front three.
Simms is a great addition. If true. Get him and Broadhead in and then focus on quality loans in August.
agreed but simms does what he does better than parrot can do any of them. Even tho parrot potentially more valuable as squad option

I agree. Much better fit than Parrot in my opinion. We need someone to push Stewart hard as an out and out number 9. This lad will do that.
Simms can play right across the front line, he played wider for blackpool. Saw him quite a bit last season for hearts and really like him. Very similar to stewart in terms of his workrate and physicality so makes sense
