Same as a single smoke canister is a threat to life and limb here but the papers describe hundreds of them going off in games abroad as marvellous scenes as fans create a fantastic atmosphere.
Wonder if they'll enforce it as much in the oddball game... Offence noted 3 times and only half a fine enacted Full. £2k, that will deter folks...
Okay, hand on heart, and be honest, I bet you would have enjoyed watching this one. I once saw some chavs from London that were part of a probation thing for car thieves, and their 'punishment' was to be part of a mini-stock team. The track was near Scunny, and a lot of the other cars were run and driven by miners, complete with pit boots and donkey jackets as racing kits. The chavs were getting rammed in the pit area to the cheers of the crowd, and to such an extent only one car made it to the parade lap, and didn't get to finish that, as all the other cars were only interested in ramming it off the park. The chavs and their minders had packed up and ****ed off before the race even started. I think you could say that they got educated.
Agree wholeheartedly, if they ban anyone entering the pitch, we’ll be stood/ sat watching the grass grow for ninety minutes a fortnight!
There will no doubt be a big feature in the HDM condemning this with the police saying there will be a crack down with Corcoran spending months with a specialist team poring over videos before applying for banning orders and a heavy police presence at games. Won’t there?
If the homophobic slur they're referring to is 'rentboy', it's been sung more than three times this season.
How about a front page 'NAME AND SHAME' campaign, like they did with us ? Whilst I'm here, did anyone see that 5hitty little article Hull Live carried a couple of days back with a so call survey of City fans 'voting' on who should be sold or replaced at City ? If any player read that garbage they must have thought they have signed for a club supported by a load of ar5eholes. They could have just as easy ran an article on the big increase in memberships this season but.....they chose that one instead.
As we have always said the local media’s treatment of City is a disgrace. They inflate everything negative and ignore everything positive about City whilst doing the reverse with the rugby clubs. I remember a few years back ringing the HDM to ask why there was a front page item about 3 fans being ejected at City whilst FC fans being escorted out of Bradford after smashing a pub up and fights in Warrington involving Rovers fans where some people were glassed hadn’t got a mention. I was told people didn’t want to read about trouble at rugby.
I was once rang at work by a very irate Colin Young from the HDM after a similar question from me about the negativity towards City. He screamed down the phone that they do not print speculation. So what was that 5hitty article they made up this week about City fans wanting half of our squad sold ?
Good timing... Six big reasons for Hull City fans to be optimistic going into the new season Fans have every reason to be upbeat going into the new Championship campaign https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/six-big-reasons-hull-city-7379117
Yes, that cancels out years of negativity going back a long time. Did you read the article about the EFL crackdown on misbehaviour due to an increase in incidents…particularly at the MKM?
I think you'll find it was in pretty much every local paper yesterday, at least those with an EFL football club.
Missing the point. Our local paper referring to trouble and incidents particularly at the MKM. Do you think that is the case? Far worse incidents at many grounds but their papers don’t come out with remarks about the football team.
I don't think the MKM is worse than anywhere else and I think that other local papers all said exactly the same sort of things about their local ground.
The HDM said the trouble and disorder at football was particularly at the MKM. The City website just published the report. Do you think incidents at the MKM was worse than elsewhere? Larger pitch invasions, opposition players head butted, players struck with coins and bottles? I didn’t think you would miss the point like some others did.
