Would they have been as successful as they were without the balance of Busquets though OLM That’s the point Kalman is making. Our midfield is very unbalanced at present
Regan Slater’s dad is on twitter suggesting that Tufan will play every game because he’s ‘Acun’s Golden Boy’.
I did say last season we had a smallish midfield and it sounds as though it’s got smaller, nothing wrong with been small, you can be still be strong and very aggressive however I also think having someone in there with height as got to help when the ball is in the air. Obviously it helps on corners ect at both ends.
Is he referring to the team or the comment? The reply is to both and Tufan isn't in the starting 11. Suspect Slaters dad would know better than to call his son's colleague 'golden boy' and effectively accuse his employer of nepotism in public. Wouldn't you?
I read it differenty. Not too far off refers to the team he's put up. The one with Tufan not starting.
I think he'll start long term, he hasn't come to sit on the bench for 4m plus wages, but Slater should feel aggrieved if he doesn't start and Tufan plays. Suspect the real question is whether Tufan or Doc starts though.
Williams was injured for a good part of last season, I liked the way he played and thought he as real pace, it’s a big season for him and am hoping he pushes on because if so he could be a real threat.
Honestly I think they feel they can get him fit and firing. Should be good enough if they do based on past form. Granted he's had a **** last year, and is carrying about half a stone. The fee Watford agreed last year was a lot more than we paid. What reeks?
Let's see if he starts, and I don't think he looked as fat as the first game in the most recent ones. Against Peterboro they all looked a yard off and disinterested. There was a photo of when he went back to Fenerbache though and he was a lot bigger then, and there's no excuse to get in that state in the first place.
