The only rumours I can find about the Leverkusen link is that he was being offered a two year contract which seems short . Especially as the only fee I saw mentioned was 10m (but most articles didn’t mention one) edit : saw a mention of 5m I’m sure we’d offer a longer deal
Just seen in an article about Newcastle that they only paid 3m up front for Pope with the total of 10m spread over three three or four years - wording was slightly unclear Burnley must have been really desperate to accept that
