Unless the club need the 20m to invest, don’t see much point in selling, unless he is also pushing for a move. He still offers something, last season was disrupted by injuries but he gives us something else compared to the rest of our forward lines. And if we move to a more 4231 formation like has been potentially hinted at, then he could play in that role behind Nunez centrally.
could be. there is now stronger evidence klopp is "thinking" on these types of things than in the past. looking at what we have we would be asking firmino or elliott or keita or carvalho playing in that central advanced cm role so theres certainly options and we saw some of keita standing really advances last season leaving fabinho and thiago back there. we however also saw trent continue on running into the middle so we were very very narrow at times. It will be interesting to see what happens there as the point of having a 9 is to play to him.
rumours that sepp van deb berg (useless ginger player) might be going on loan to Bournemouth (who still have not made our season net spend neutral by taking phillips.)
If we play with a CAM Carvalho seems a fairly obvious choice as he played in that position quite a lot last season .
I think the summary of the season is in the persons last year of their contract. So it should be we won a couple trophies then origi left we got 4th then Gini left. rather than way Mito put it, makes ot seems like Gini left then we got 4th. Or origi left then we won 2 trophies

Shame to lose him, he's probably fallen down pecking order recently, but he's still a good plan B and injuries happen. We have better goal scorers but noone does exactly what he does better.
Wouldn’t say no one.. but he was vital cog for the last 5 years and was just as important as mane and Salah in that famous front 3. Think lfc fans and players very much appreciated him even if the outside world didn’t as much. they wouldn’t have got as many goals without firmino that’s for sure. however it seems klopp is trying to tweak things again (maybe because replacing firmino like for like is so hard) so his style is suddenly less vital for us.
Klopp has described firmino and salah as midfielders as well so there is a huge combination of player, manager and fans together. There is probably not many other clubs where a player could score as relatively few as firmino and be sung to the rafters every time he takes the field. Not many clubs who would give the player that kind of patience when fans demand goals etc.
I hope he doesn't think he stands a chance here. That would be a very short conversation and most of what is said would be drowned out by hysterical laughter.
