agree, he comes across as a decent bloke but that’s the problem. Managers have to rip into players sometimes to get them to listen & do what they are told. He is definitely not from the Ferguson/Klopp/Clough school of management which I fear is what these players need.

 

Shota is going to play a back 6 and front 4 no midfield .. we are used to the long ball forward and with 4 to aim for any direction will do

You seem to be comparing defeats with other defeats whereas people who are criticising City are talking about the lack of quality in their play

I won't be surprised if we amass nil points from the first six games but it has nothing to do with losing Honeyman. He was a very hard working professional and made some things happen for us but the best player in the championship is a bit of a stretch. He didn't feel the love he needed and has gone. I'm not sure anybody has been getting excited about the signings we have made - despite what has been written above.
I havent heard of any of our signings and therefore I havent got excited. I'm more than happy to give them a chance to show how good they are.

 

Excited ! Some are so excited they are posting numbers (not explaining what they mean or where they came from) that some bloke from Turkey who we have bought that no one had ever heard of has a higher number than Mo Salah.
