Jesus, just sat through 18 pages of mostly nonsense,hair-splitting with an assortment of insults throw in for good measure. Anyway…..these internet points…are they like air miles?
Kinnel Den, you could have said. How many would I need for say, a rotory cultivator, a queen sized duvet set and a set of steak knives? Oh - and a Double Decker.
They are more like Green Shield stamps, once you get enough you can get a Kenwood Chef or some crystal glasses if you are lucky.
They cost loads of points. Where do you fancy running a trip to though? I’ve got enough for a Dennis Taylor rent-a-van
Poor Dennis Taylor, he really ****ed up his snooker pension by investing in small vans when he should have gone into kryptoncurrency...
Talking of the multitudinous flavours of Crypto.., I have just launched a new internet currency. It is called the Internet NoPoint. I have high expectations that it will be wildly popular on here and people will often post with NoPoint in mind. I can see it now. Soon people will say: There goes Frank, he is famous for being the king of NoPoint.
Not to sound like a Football Manager dork who pretends to know loads about obscure players but I’m quite surprised we haven’t been linked with Amir Hadžiahmetović. He’s considered one of the best defensive midfielders in the Turkish Süper Lig and had a really strong season for the season just gone. I would’ve thought given that we’ve been linked with just about every player in Turkey and we need a ball-winner who can do the dirty stuff, he’d be perfect.
Our midfield was so bad against Peterborough. Like I cannot stress enough, watching the first goal back Seri just let’s his man run beyond Greaves allowing him an easy cross. Likewise for the second and third with Tufat
Makes me wonder if there wasn't something in the idea of having heavy legs having played 3 games in a week. Believe pboro had only played half's in their friendlies before Saturday (and still swapped team over on 60). Our second string who hadn't started 3 games in a week did pretty well over L1 opposition the same day. Still,. Performances didn't inspire confidence in either of last week's apparent first team displays.
There’s been 22 transfers ???? Bloody ell I miss everything, no internet points and missed all the transfers… come on norm give your Ed a wobble
I’ve moved the FFP stuff on to its own thread and deleted a load of the nonsense. If I missed any, I apologise, but we have to select the posts one at a time and move them page by page and I’ve already wasted forty minutes on it. Obviously I’ve left up the stuff about Internet Points, I don’t want anyone to miss out.
Being a bit of an ad-hoc poster, i am a bit concerned that i may not get enough internet points this season. Does this mean i could get relegated to the 2011 threads, and do pre season posts count at all?
This has all disintegrated into complete tosh. Let's get back to the transfers and not green shield stamps or Dennis Taylor. Rant over.
Tan Kesler in The Athletic- “Anything below the top six, I would be disappointed.” “We believe that international talent can work with our local talent. The players we have signed have played at a very high level but they can also pass on their experience.” “I feel the buzz in town. You only have to interact with the fans to see this.” “If we didn’t get there (play-offs) it would disappoint us but it wouldn’t discourage us. It would just make us more motivated to come back.”
