Il Messaggeroit claim we're looking to sign Milan Skriniar and Nicolo Barella. Couldn't we just kidnap Steven Zhang's children and ransom them for Bastoni...? Meanwhile, CalcioMercato claim that Conte has told Paratici he wants Roma's Nicola Zalewski...take a moment to read that again And finally, Daniel Longo says that Pape Matar Sarr isn't interested in a loan to Milan
Would love Skriniar and Barella, both brilliant players. I wonder if Inter would except a swap deal for Sanchez and N'Dombele? Chuck in Lo Celso to sweeten the deal.
Sky Sports News headline 'Kane - latest transfer news'.....to be a reference to Nagelsman saying what a great player he is and how he'd never rule out trying to buy him. I think Angelina Jolie is a stunning woman and I'll never rule out marrying her either!
Potential Loan Roundup Harvey White: Swansea (Football BSIder) Troy Parrott: Middlesbrough, Sunderland, QPR (all Northern Echo)
Rival fans have constantly said Kane isn’t at the same level as the likes of Lewandowski and Benzema but seems managers like Pep and Nagelsmann disagree as they always speak highly of him and how they’d like him in their team
I’ve said it before but it’s an English fan thing. Rival fans tend to hate on the best English players and try playing down their quality. Happens with Kane and Sterling, happened with Rooney/ Beckham/ Gerrard etc. We’ve got a weird culture over here to say the least.
Thought a prime Kane would end up at Barca/Madrid, but now La Liga is a financial basket case, not likely. Debatable whether going to Munich would give them the CL plunder that Madrid have had in recent years (they haven't done it with prime Lewandowski, so what would Kane bring that others haven't) .
Kane's also got 5 or 6 years on both of them and hasn't played in side that's dominated his league. Lewandowski played 12 seasons in the Bundesliga and failed to win it in 2 of them. Then he joined the side that won the two he missed out on. Benzema won titles in France with the only team in town before PSG was a thing. He's played alongside a bunch of the best players in the world at Real and won everything. Five years ago people thought he was finished and he only scored 12 goals in all competitions. That was the season we beat them in the Champions League and they went on to win it. Ronaldo leaving game him a new lease of life.
Ally Gold says Parrott’s set to sign a new deal as he prepares to go out on loan. Decent news that, current deal expires next summer albeit we had the opportunity to extend it by a year.
It looks and sounds as if he's got his head together and wants to make the most of his talents, which are considerable. Good for him...and us.
Such a crucial year for him and Scarlett. Get their development right and we're potentially sorted up front for years to come, barely spending a penny in the process.
It’s definitely a massive season for Parrott. He’s coming off the back of a really impressive loan at MK and if we/ he nails it with his loan this season then he almost certainly comes back as a first team member of the squad for the 23/24 season. Scarlett ideally I’d like to see follow in Parrott’s footsteps, he’s still scarily only 18 and won’t even be 19 until March. A League One loan this season followed up by a Championship one the next should do wonders for his development.
Based on some of the people he was hanging around with 3-4 years ago, Goodfellas would be a better life lesson...
Alasdair Gold says we'll be announcing Romero's signing imminently, implying that the specific date was stipulated in the loan deal...but don't say what that date is I mean the fact he played in our three pre-season matches would indicate we already had signed him...
As long as it’s all sealed and signed, I’d hate to see the likes of Chelsea or City come in and steal him.
