    Transfers.
    My blood boils every time I read player transfers in the newspaper.
    It's confined 99% for Premiership players.

    It's just bloody wrong.

    Regrettably that's where the big money lives but down at our level spending big could be dangerous to our financial health. When I look at the amounts bandied around for the Premiership I often wonder if they ever get checked out by the FFP police or are they untouchable like Donald Trump? As always it seems there are different rules at the top but heaven forbid that a club like ours should overspend in order to progress up the ladder. The big money and attention will always remain at the top because that's where most of the revenue is generated and therefore, in my mind, the authorities tend to look elsewhere to mete out punishment to warrant their existence.

    Half-time - Bournemouth 0-0 Bristol City
    A solid performance by City in that first-half. They started well, enjoying the majority of possession in the opening 20 minutes without really testing Mark Travers. Alex Scott with the best opportunity from close range.

    Bournemouth grew into the game and had a very dangerous 10/15 minute spell where Sykes clawed one off the goalline before Solanke had a shot blocked.

    But City look fit, organised and have an aura of confidence about them with the ball at their feet. See you in 10/15 minutes.

    Kadji coming on...
    No great surprise to see Scott coming off... he gets a great reception from the City fans on the far side.

    Scott's done really well today, dare I say it - doesn't look out of place against a Premier League midfield although we knew that anyway.

    Good result, only a friendly I know, but a good work out. Plus we scored a penalty, that’s two given in the friendlies, more than we had all last season.

    WELL Hibs out of the Scottish league cup WON 2 LOST 2 ..hopefully owner doesnt go and sack the manager and assistant!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Maybe he’s knuckled down in pre-season? I like him, and yes he made some bad mistakes last season, but so did many of our more seasoned defenders.

    He’s ok as a squad player, & can cover several positions, which helps. He’s too error prone to be first team though, imo.
