Change the bloody record why don't ya. Anyone would think Honeyman was a relative of yours He's a paid professional, and has gone on to a better deal.
Out of curiosity i was thinking how Grant would have dealt with all this talent at his disposal, not that i want him back but just looking how he set up in the final games he managed us he got results with some great team football.
"We have to play 90 minutes, we have to go on but it's not acceptable, it's definitely not acceptable," the Georgian told Hull Live. "I can imagine some heavy legs, two games, some of them are not ready but that's still not acceptable. "It's the second time. After 30 seconds we concede a goal, with every player behind the ball, I'm very disappointed. It's not about one mistake. The body language - it was like a disaster." "We have to (fix it). I'm thinking about it, after games it is difficult but I'm thinking," he explained when asked how he goes about fixing the issues he's highlighted. "The club does everything to show much they can do for the players, this is really tough to stand (here and talk about it). "I also have to give credit to the opponents as well, but our way of playing (made it easier for them). You have to be good physically and mentally. There's always hard work to do."
At least he accepts there’s a problem, unlike people before him. I like that, he’s not treating us like idiots and trying to bat it away. Hopefully he can fix it
Can we sell Tufan now before his reputation from 2 years ago disappears? Have no hope in him getting fit.
I'd like to think the club and physio already have him.on a stringent fitness plan, if not they need one pdq !
He went on an intense 6 week fitness course before joining Watford last season apparently and came to them looking like he is now. #BringBackGeorge
Can we change this thread name to just Cambridge v Hull City, id like to forget about the second game today ASAP!
I don’t know if something’s affected him in his personal life and it’s none of my business anyway but he’s very out-of-shape for a pro footballer. Lack of game time isn’t an excuse either. Plenty of footballers who haven’t played for a while due to injury or some other reason manage to keep physically fit and look after themselves, even if they aren’t ‘match fit’. Sad reality is, for whatever reason, he’s let himself get in the state he is and that’s down to him to resolve it. We’ve paid a reasonable transfer fee for him and and he’ll be on a decent wage. At the very least, it’s expected that he isn’t overweight and blowing out his arse after 30 minutes.
The loss of Honeyman, the best player in the Division, has destroyed our mid-field and we are now witnessing the consequences. We will continue to be a sieve defensively. and I would not be surprised to see us get no points from the first six games beginning with a repeat of last seasons crushing defeat by Bristol next Saturday. The sooner Shota is replaced by a manager who knows how to capitalize on our new striking potential the better. Further delays in making radical changes could put us in an untenable position by Christmas.
Apparently he’s always had weight issues throughout his career. He puts loads of weight on, loses it, then puts it back on. That’s just not healthy or normal for a pro footballer though. If anything, it shows a real lack of discipline to remain physically fit.
Are you saying honeyman is the best player in the division or has that can of Madri gone to my head ?
