Don’t agree. As I’ve said previously most players if not all will prefer Milan over Leeds as they won’t even know who we are. Same as Rapha situation opting for Barca. We never had a chance of competing. We still got two great years out if him
1. Reported that his agent refused to even speak to Leeds. 2. We’ve agreed their fee and they’ve accepted so why isn’t here? Oh, cos he doesn’t want to be?
No and would any of the five or six we signed this season if Milan wanted them. No competing with the top cl clubs
That’s my point. We took the chance with Raphinha, it worked but he moved on at the first opportunity.
And they all will. If there’s an ambition for cl football and the earnings attached to that, Leeds will not be the final destination for those players. We’re the holy grail for the likes of Cooper who’s been on the entire journey with us but we’re mere stepping stones for most others. Nothing wrong in my opinion in being second choice to cl clubs
Spanish press reporting that barca are likely to offer sevilla €55m for Kounde in the coming days. How do they get away with this?
Tell ya what’s really pissing me off at the minute. I hid a bar of chocolate in the mancave a couple of weeks back and I’ll be damned if I can find it
Everton lost heavily in the U.S prompting Fwank to lay in to his squad. Brentford got absolutely smashed 4-0 at Wolfsburg yesterday and looked terrible. Villa drew with us in a fairly even game. Also drew with Man Utd who have absolutely smashed their pre season including a 4-0 hammering of Liverpool. Just a little perspective on the friendly games. We might look rusty and we make alot of changes but we've been competitive in every game and created chances.
West Ham seem to have signed a top striker. Italian Scammaca fir £36m which also has an agreed 10% sell clause. He will be the one to watch this season. Raphinha scored the only goal against Real Madrid in Las Vegas yesterday. I know we dont really give a fk any more
I’ve been watching that Rapha goal. Class finish. Might as well watch his goals , not many Leeds ones to watch at present
This CDK deal must be the strangest one Leeds have ever tried to do. When have you known a club go in with a higher bid than the asking price? Its actually €5m more than Brugge wanted and AC Milan cannot go higher than €32m so Leeds have a bid worth more than €8m than AC Milan? Brugge have told Milan not to bother coming back unless they can offer €35m. Apparently Milan are now moving to their second choice striker and CDK will have to stay in Belgium. Wonder what was/is so important about this player that we went all in to get him. Does the way he plays make him a key part of the tactical plan? Just so very strange
