Really hope Conte decides Perisic can play 45 instead of 30 and gives Spence a go over Doherty in the second half. Two weakest this half for me are Sess and Emerson. Front three also not firing despite occasionally good pass and moving. Edit - and as I type Emerson ****s up a great counter.
1-0 HT. Not a great half. Plenty of the ball and quite a few opportunities, but all a bit slow and off.
Really poor first half despite a strong opening 5-10 mins. Not sure Conte will be too happy with that even if it is pre-season. Would like to see Perisic, Spence, Lenglet and Bissouma on for Sess, Emerson, Sanchez and Hojbjerg at HT.
That's contentious 'British' , English is the right word. The British Isles covers Scotland and Ireland as well. I am now clearly with the Celtic supporters thanks to you.
May be pre-season dawdling, but Sess/Hojbjerg/Emerson showing why they will struggle to be starting XI regulars this season.
Good work out so far. Certainly don't deserve to be losing . 3 or 4 good opportunities wasted. As DH said Emerson and Sessegnon have been poor. Both got into good positions but poor decision making. Hope to see Peresic, Bissouma, Lenglet and Richarlison 2nd half.
Performance means more than the result. As Spurlock said before when we smashed everyone up and then started the season with 2 points out of 8 games!
