I never said I hated him, I just got sick of the hype, that's all. LL hated him though. I just think people forget that until Bielsa arrived he was going no where and as I've often said, he was nearly sold but Viera was instead and Viera was a fans favourite and even had a song sang about him. Also this I'm from Leeds crap in the end meant nothing to him.

 

My point grumpy was that I don't like the Latin temperment, IMO they can sulk when things don't go their way. I've no problem where players come from so lets nip that in the bud. Raph may have helped us stay up, so did Newcastle and Harisson, but Raph went missing in some games and his atittude in some games may have cost us points. IMO as soon as he and his agent heard that certain clubs were after him, his head was turned. Now lets leave it at that because they've moved on and so have I.

 

The thing that irks me is his pre planning of the whole transfer. Pictured on holiday previous season with grealish etc. Dumps his Agent and joins up with grealishs agent (shock horror). Then insists it is City he goes to at a reduced price robbing the club of millions. Plus he hardly played last season and doubt he will this upcoming one. I never bought into the hype and thought him lucky playing for England mainly due to a dirth of quality mids avaliable. So he will win medals but only as a squad player. I really think he is in for a shock.

 

Anytime Milky Although it feels if you have a different opinon from the rest, that you're in danger of being cancelled.

I've never rated Phillips, LL had some good arguments about him, he will be found out at citeh, he knew he was leaving ER early last season in my opinion and gave us **** all, **** him the greedy Billy big bollox bastard,
another good thing is, we've mugged money city for a good few quid for the useless ****er, as for Raph, he did his best for us and i will be forever grateful, great player and i wish him well.

Peronally I'd prefer Raphinha's Latin temperament that creates chances, scores goals and wins matches over the British get stuck in and receive a red card anyday of the week.

So who were these other clubs that offered more? Whilst it is true it was City who he wanted to move to, the truth is nobody offered more, Man United enquired and he snubbed them. Man City’s decision maker and Rads were together on a Spanish island at Coopers wedding. Too many haters just want to believe media gossip.

I’m not fussed he has gone, search back through posts and I was one of the first to say he’ll be easier to replace in a non Bielsa team. I’m actually not worried if we sold the entire squad from last season, they were all poor.

My gripe is that over the course of the last 3-4 seasons we’ve sold the best two players we had and signed unproven gambles, we’re still opening Wiki.

Sitting on a fence as a neutral… Excuses were made last season for Bielsa blaming injuries. Then the finger pointing of over training causing injuries.

Excuses were made for Jesse saying he inherited the squad. Give him a chance with his players. The fan base was ripped straight through the middle.

This is now a Jesse Marsch squad, he was given much more freedom in the signings than I’d hoped. I was hoping for the likes of Nahitan Nandez and Noa Lang but hats off to the board, they believe in Jesse and have signed his players.

He had nearly half a season to get his methods over to those he’ll keep, the signings know of him, they’re his choices. We have a very decent first 16 games with the hard games spread out. He has a preseason with the signings brought in nice and early.

I’m hoping we get off to a flier, I hope all my doubts about Jesse vanish, I’m hoping for a great season.

My logical head is saying we look worse than last season if all first team 11 are available.
