Morning, off to the town of peel for a hair cut and beer is my plan today, possibly some sight seeing along the way maybe.

Morning... in Cardiff for daughter's graduation... drove down last night ... queued for 2 and half hours from 7pm this morning for her to get her cap and gown from City Hall ...

... although the Welsh spelling of photography helped lift my mood ...

 

****ing daylight robbery is cap and gown, pic with a plastic scroll! Think mine cost a decent night out and that was 20 years ago.

 

Crazy here today ... 3 years of graduates all at once due to Covid ... event culminates at the Principality (Millennium) stadium this afternoon ...

 

****ing hell, may as well give them all covid now. Be a mad night if they are all out on the razz after.

 

Everyrhing is booked up to **** ... but did manage to book a table at a fancy restaurant as, for once, planned ahead ... plus sister-in-law lives in Cardiff, so cost of restaurant offset by free accommodation ...

First time trying the Double punk, 8.2%, doesn't taste that strong first impression, a little smoother than the normal Punk.

 

8.2% and smooth is dangerous

 

Thankfully, only bought the one, as wasn't sure if I'd like it.

 

Starter ... just consumed ... very 70s / 80s but nonetheless excellent..
