    Have just seen Gary Karsa in the stands for Stoke vs Newcastle on Sky Sports.

    Apparently he is there on a scouting job for PL looking at Ameobi.

    Am I the only one who's never really got why this Ameobi 'banter' is supposed to be funny? I've always maintained he'd have been a quality signing for us, particularly when all those rumours were flying around during the dark, dark Rodent days. You don't score 50+ goals in the Premiership without having ability so I've never really understood why people find such hilarity the prospect of us signing him in the past. Ok, no interest in him any more as we have better options nowadays, but he'd have shone like a beacon amongst some of the crap we use to have lining up before Lambo rode on his yellow and green stallion.

    Strange one, but you enjoy yourselves <ok>

    Its funny because it was true, all the time this rumour kept re surfacing , and it was total bollocks..... He is a quality player and another 23:emoticon-0105-wink:
