When I read it initially I thought he said erotic pets. I think this thread isn’t for me.

And don’t let @Mr. Strickland anywhere near this one:

Friend of a friend had some ducks and were giving away ducklings that were just a couple of days old.

Thought it was a good idea at the time and a bit daft so went along and got a couple thinking it was a couple of cheap pets.

Then wound up spending £150 on astroturf, £500 on timber, £60 on a pet paddling pool, £100 on chicken wire and **** knows how much on hay and duck pellets since.......Not to mention I'm yet to find a duckery for when I go on holiday which means the daughter has to come and stay to pet sit and house sit which in turn costs another £200 every time we fancy having a weekend away <laugh><laugh><laugh>

    It’s a life lesson. But I won’t mention ducks if you don’t.

We had Chinchillas if they count. I wouldn't recommend! Quite fun and a lot of personality but they wreck the place!

I've always fancied a sugar glider.
They are a bat like rodent thing.
I've had one in my hand and you can hold them up and they glide across the room.

Very cool. The chinchillas were pretty fun as they could climb really high and jump far

The only downside is they are expensive apparently. Some breeder chap quoted me £250 once for one. And they need a canny sized cage.
They would be good at a party.

Have you seen the price of dogs these days? £250 is a bargain.

Aye my dad has one. She's lovely too. He paid $600 before Covid then covid saw the prices soar.
If I ever get my first dog I'll get a cockapoo. A brown one (black lives matter). A lad (lass ones make round patches of piss stains on my lawn).
