So 11:05pm "pom time" would mean we are kicking off at 4:05am UK time then Either way the Yorkshire Post is most probably incorrect as I am
Well fat fwank has just seen his mob get beat 4-0 by Minnesota....... perhaps he can console himself with a corn dog hopefully he will soon be getting his p45
Aski, it's 11.05am your time Friday morning for kick off, 18.05 in Perth and 20.05 here in Queensland
nope… currently that’s the 3 that came up then us and Brentford! Though I imagine that result shortened their odds a little
I disagree. They should back him for the whole season! Not so sure if they should then keep him in the Championship.
Agreed. In relegation danger last season and then sold their best player in the summer. Imagine doing something as stupid as that
Cheers Eric, I realised that after LDS mentioned it, and then I calculated the time difference and it made sense. However in my defence, I was basing my comment upon information received from the Yorkshire Post, who I would have expected to have got the details correct, given that they not only said the game kicked off at 11:05pm but mentioned a Thursday evening kick off, so it's not even a typing error. Will never trust that paper again What's even worse than finding myself incorrect in this matter, is that I was actually looking forward to sitting down and watching the game tonight, where as now I will have to miss the game tomorrow
I personally wouldn’t put any of the promoted teams as racing certainties for the drop this year though Bournemouth look favourites Fulham could be competitive, Forest are an interesting one. A large chunk of their team was loans last year so it will be a completely new team. Agree on paper it looks like decent recruitment and their manager has proven he can get teams gelling quickly… but they’re basically an unknown quantity. .
Cooper will be hero or villain this season but deserves credit so far as he knows his onions and he has been using the kids he had under him in the England set up. Great coaching versus great big wallets?
I do think Forest are going to be the 'dark horse' this season wouldn't be surprised if they finish mid table. Everton are certs for the drop now. Will be interesting to see if they've got a plan/project and how long they'll tolerate Lampard for before he's fired. Fulham and Bournemouth I can't comment on. If Toney goes and they invest the £30 million they want then it's another team to watch this season.
The warning signs are there for Everton - losing 4-0 to Minnesota United Selling their best player and no significant re-investment - Lampard is my choice for the Premiership's sack race 1st "winner" Brentford will suffer from the dreaded second season syndrome I think, especially after losing Eriksen and if they lose Toney on top, I think they'll be in the Championship next season I think Forrest will be this season's surprise team Bottom three will be: Fulham, Bournemouth and Brentford, with Everton to survive with a new manager, but only just.
Seems Forest have signed Huddersfield duo O'Brien & Toffolo for a reported £10M. That's good business.
Exactly, I don’t want him, he’s heart’s not in it and if he did come and started badly I suspect that the crowd will be on his Bach immediately because they know we weren’t his first choice.
