Arsenal sit top of group F with 7 points with Marseille behind them on 6. A late winner by Aaron Rmasey secured Arsenal a massive away win and 3 points against the same team. Marseille have in their league have only managed to get 15 points out of a possible 36. They sit 9th in Ligue 1. Which for a team like Marseille is simply not good enough. They are a counter attacking team so they will be a dangerous team at the Emirates if Arsenal are not aware of that threat. They have pace on the counter with players like Remy,Ayew and Valbuena. Inter Milan where the last non-English team to win a CL game at Arsenal so its a tough task for the men from France. Arsenal have an impressive home record this season. Having won all their games apart from one. They only need a win and things to go their way in the other game for them to get though yet again to the last 16. Oxo was not great in the last game and this is a step up. We have an extra day before the WBA game so I see no reason why we can't get the job done here and then start to rest the big players with 2 games left in this group.
Maybe, but Wenger might want to rest Kos and play Jenky at RB. I don't think we should alter a winning team too much, but it's nice to finally have some options in defence.
I'm not trying to be pedantic but we're not allowed to call it the Emirates Stadium for Champions League games
Emirates are not an official sponsor of the CL so their name cannot be used. There is even no mention of the name "Emirates" on the matchday programme I don't need a source,i've been to home CL games Bayern Munich cannot use the name Allianz Arena during CL games for the same reason
It's ****ing rediculous but it happens during all major sporting events. Remember the story during the rugby WC about the England player who was heavily fined for wearing a mouth guard with an unofficial sponsors logo on it.
My darling wife is mopping my fevered brow Anyway enough of the silliness, people will only moan about freds being spoiled
