I like the idea of a progressive but tenacious midfielder. A player who is happy to take on 5 men at once and then comfortable with finishing in the box. Is pouchies lass available? I have heard she goes down a bit too easily though.
I shouldn't be inpatient, but when you see players talking to other clubs that you think would be a good fit here it's slightly disappointing. Must trust our recruitment guys.
Not for that money. For the right price he'd be an upgrade on what we have. Never heard of the player or the link to be honest. I very much doubt we were involved, we're having a summer of being linked to every single player in the world. Hope he's good for you guys. ps. If that is true then it's a sh!tty tactic that I would be disappointed my club were involved in, I just happen to not actually believe it's true.
I've no idea what we're doing at the moment. £30m for Ekitike, who has WAY less caps at youth level than Mara. Hopefully the 'stitch up Bordeaux' story is bollocks (I think it could well be true, rich people don't get rich by writing a lot of cheques), but either way £11m for a decent talent, better than Ekitike by most accounts, seems a steal. It's more puzzling when Hope says we're not even close to signing anyone, yet anyone with eyes can see vs Mainz we have absolutely bollock all up front.
