just goes to show you can shove a load of decent players on the pitch but if they dont play as a team its worth nothing. its gonna take a while before they all get used to each other.
The last time I saw such punishment was when the head boy gave his *** a beasting for insubordination.
as I said last season Acun made a big mistake employing his mate to manage City & not the best man for the job
Just for clarification, our first opponents in the Championship are Bristol City, not Manchester City in the Premier League. Leicester's squad is valued at half a billion pounds, the likes of Fofana and Tielemans are being linked to top end PL sides and nearly all of their first team are full internationals. Please, read nothing into this pre season stretch of the legs.
What we are seeing is an established Premier league team, with a squad that has been together far longer then ours against a newly built team that is still getting to know each other, a mistake coupled with a good finish, and a deflected shot make up 2 of the goals, the 3rd was just poor all round. Its a work on progress and a friendly ladies and gents, let's not get too carried away.
I take your point but there’s no denying we look absolutely **** and one Richie Smallwood is better than ten Ozan Tufan’s. KLP is clearly missing.
Leicester are a very good side We have a number of new players bedding in. The score line is not unexpected
i agree in some respects, the scoreline is virtually irrelevant but it is a good pointer of players fitness and how they play together. thats when we can get the ball.
Think an opponent similar level to Malaga may have been a better option for this. Another second tier side from abroad. Bit of a hiding to nothing playing sides like Leicester and Fenerbahce and not sure what we can take from those sorts of games
