France made a bit of a statement last night putting 5 past Italy before half time...... this is even more of a statement
7-0..... England still moving the ball around really nicely even though Norway have gone 5 at the back, this could be any amount England want....... Norway could also be in trouble as Austria could still knock them out in final game......
I just hope we don't hear how tired players are and that there are too many games when this afternoon Liverpool Red play Manchester Red in Bangkok...... Such is the bollox that is top flight football Liverpool even had their own groundsman go with them so he could oversee the playing surface not only at the ground but also the training facility......... High prices for Bangkok friendly Liverpool v Man Utd (14:00 BST) please log in to view this image Simon Stone BBC Sport in Bangkok There has been criticism of the prices being charged for today's game in Bangkok, which are even more than it costs to get into a Justin Bieber concert here in November. There is some sympathy for the organisers though. Both Liverpool and Manchester United demanded high-class surfaces, not only at the Rajamangala Stadium but at their training facilities as well. Liverpool even had their own groundsman on hand last night to give the pitch a mow and a roll in the half-hour gap from United's training session to theirs.
England v NI tonight. Great achievement for NI to get to the Euros given the size and infrastructure, but you fear for them against England. Haven’t seen much of the tournament but have enjoyed what I have seen, some serious skills on show.
I have seen most on TV and been to 2 matches...3rd tomorrow The skill is amazing...but the heavy defending is not. To me the difference between the teams is actually the good teams have strong tackling defence, the bad teams do not. England are so good because they have a masterful defence that allows their attackers to attack. Portugal, Denmark, Spain great attack...but pitiful defence
I think the women's game has improved incredibly over the last few years. The top sides play some really good stuff and the players are technically excellent. England may well rest a few for tonight.
My first job tomorrow is laying out German flags in the German section of the stadium...paid for by German FA. Remind anyone of anything. Tomorrow's crowd at Milton Keynes will be the top attendance record for any women's Euro match that did not include the host. In for a very busy day...
Spain have started the better of the 2 sides, England not really into their stride yet........ still 0-0 after half hour
HT 0-0..... England will be the happier as Spain have been the better side...... 15 minutes to change things around for the England manager..... Good game......
Yep. Spain the better side without really threatening.....yet. England need to move the ball quicker and get it to the wide players.
