    W O W ..... follow that PMQ'S 20/07/2022 ...........

The second biggest observation was Rayner dumbstruck throughout! Had a face like a childed kid throughout, hardly mouthed a word [ lips moved with a whisper] unlike her usually extrovert animated self during the oppos's Q's...

The biggest observation was Boris, delivering the drive determination and winning tit for tat he has become synonymous with. Follow that "B" grader. Took it all in his stride, the good the bad and the ugly and there was 2 ugly Q's [ well statements ] chastised by the speaker...

no wonder a few thousand conservative members are campaigning for a reversal of Boris being ousted ... hopefully a bad sign for Rishi [ who today was absent! ? ] whilst Truss and Mordaunt sat in full view as per normal. if these "few thousand " take it upon themselves that Rishi [ only one of the 3 remaining ] was a back stabber .....welcome our next female prime minster.

You can make a case for a lie! we all do it ... "fib a bit" we make a comment because we do not know the facts or have bad advice .. or no advice to the contrary! Strip away the " misdemeaners and what is left will not be replaced by any of the 3 .......

Hypocrisy ... worse than a lie .. a self destruction of ones own "principles" and Hey ho all coming out of the wood now!!! [Ashton sort of hates comments directed at an individual, name calling, nicknames etc ] so hopefully wont interfere with his [ Ashton best of wishes to a simple quick one ] covid recovery !!! when I merely point out comments from very recent Tv/ media/ PMQ's regarding [ as Boris stated today "Captain Hindsight" ].
"A man without principles is no man at all...." ABANDONED all Election promises, a Brexit reversal, yet to abandon their tax costing one. Has no ability to see the answer to his own ... very often asked Q about the state of the economy ... simple really Sir Keir..

Tories take over from Labour and the £trn's of debt and borrowing
Get back into profit and begin the process of changing PM to Boris
Boris picks up the baton of a country in the black ... smash's Labour out of the park
Takes us out of a restricted EU .. BREXIT..
Puts in motion plans for £trn's of investment police hospitals NHS and infra structure with levelling
ALL HUNKY DORY ..tax's due to fall and wham .....
    COVID...............
Sir KS is either DUMB or thinks the UK population is stupid!!!
Constantly states we should spend more / do this that or the other usually hypocrisy the underlying tone ...
£trn was spent on defeating COVID and protecting the economy... yes mistakes were made in some financial aspects but we came out in debt with a economy almost intact ...............
    RUSSIA ...........
When all starting to pick up Russia invades massive hikes in oil gas food .. passed on around the world and Sir KS expects the .gov to keep on giving out more money to the lazy who nowadays wont work because the state pays them enough to not work....

Thank the heavens for whatever gods look down Sir KS does not have the reins
................. saddly our chance in the world has just dropped .......

    Agree

But if he'd told the truth he'd still be PM.

Only has himself to blame in that respect.

They're all useless lying rats, it's just most don't get caught.

Clever Labour video doing the rounds, you'd think all bar Sunak were Labour politicians.

Boris got the big calls right.
    Brexit.
Immediately enabling our vaccine roll out to be way in advance of the hamstrung EU.
    Ukraine.

Boris is whatever you call him but I'd have him ahead of any Tory hopeful let alone the opposition.
The Tory Party has decided we will be governed by Starmer, Sturgeon and Davey and back in the EU by Christmas 24.

I would rather have a leader that is honest and straight, I hate liars, Boris is a proven habitual liar, I could forgive the humbug, I could even forgive the buffoonery but liars are vermin, he had to go.

I will give him credit for one thing, Brexit. He Got us out of a Groundhog Day situation. For that I’m grateful to him. However he’d been an habitual liar before becoming PM and he couldn’t help himself he carried it on afterwards,

I really don’t understand how any fair minded person could try to make excuses for him.

I'm not making excuses for Boris.
I don't understand how 'any fair minded person' could think any politician is anything but truthful.
How many colleagues in your working life have been caught abusing boys, reading porn whilst in a debate, involved in a car crash and then do a runner in high heels and mini skirt. And that's the ones caught lately.

There is not one industry that comes anywhere close having such a preponderance of weirdos.

They're a special bunch alright but don't ever think I will respect any one of them.
    Whichever party they represent.

I take your point about the number of MP’s being caught with their trousers around their ankles, so to speak, but that doesn’t excuse having a PM who is a stranger to the truth.

    I'm not excusing him.
As Wiz put it and I agree - He's a liar.
Where I take issue is there is not one 'honest and straight' person anywhere in politics - red or blue.
    They are weirdos.

    And lazy weirdos as well.
How many MPs and hangers-on were in Downing Street listening to his farewell speech and then filing in for food and drinks ?
Haven't they got a job to do ?
This never ending bun fight electing a new leader. They're all at 'hustings' and then the voting is announced almost daily by Sir Geoffrey with other hangers-on smiling and joking thinking aren't we important. And this is going on till September ffs.
A cost of living crisis is with us, the unions are intent on a summer of discontent and yet those weirdos are playing silly pathetic games that they call politics.
And we're paying them - for what ?
    Boils my urine.

I'm going for a lie down.

The biggest question is who will succeed him? Sunak or Truss? Is that really a choice?

Until the ‘non-dom’ scandal I would have chosen Sunak. I was alarmed when Truss suggested Brits might want to go to Ukraine to fight. Whilst I’m right behind the Ukraine I think those words were unnecessary and inflammatory - and couldn’t be backed up with guarantees of safety for anyone who took that advice.
    God help us.

Put it down to Covid ... foggy brain!!!!:emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0105-wink:<whistle>

just reporting the events spoken / published elsewhere if I was a dedicated Labourite probably have the same opinions as yourself but I am a free spirit I vote for the facts not the person ... heaven forbid even voted for Blair once .. and the greens in the locals .. as well as Ukip and an independant.......... my next vote [ although not a cross on paper ] Liz Truss.

on the news today they went a constituency and couldnt find anyone going to vote for RISHI... one reason given was he is a back stabber!!! my reasoning is LT IS PRETTY straight, might shake a few tins ........

Raab would maybe have been a good choice ... he stood by Boris and some MP'S MAY have been reluctant to vote for him????? Who will either Liz or Rishi adopt as deputy PM!
Some interesting arguments going around as to whether actually resigned.....

My choice would have been Kemi, but now we're down to the final 2 it has to be Truss for me, not ideal, but the better of the 2 I think and a newer face nearer to the coal face.

And at least the 'woke' Mordaunt is gone ! Again, was a liar and tried to backtrack and deny what she was filmed saying. How can you possibly deny evidence like that ffs ?!!!

I just don't like Sunak, and he has 'baggage' with his green card, and he/his missus not paying UK tax etc.

But when a Chancellor is posing for a TV crew in a petrol station and doesn't know how contactless payments work, then that sums him up. We're all just plebs to him.

You aren’t a free spirit, Tory through and through, you don’t see things objectively, I accept we all have different opinions especially on politics, we all have our own views and see things from our own perspective, but please a free spirit <laugh><laugh>

I hope Rishi wins, I think he’s favourite isn’t he?, I’ve not really followed things the last few days, as I think Labour would do better against him, after all along with Boris he managed to get a FPN for partying, and has a dubious record re Non Dom status.

How wrong you are how can you be tory through and through when you vote 3 times since 1974? for labour, and didnt vote from 1981 to 1990 .. didnt vote for Major but did x2 for Blair didnt vote for Cameron but did for May and Boris.. in mean time local elections have not been tory when I have voted, in fact not Labour either for past 40 years living here usually the person who would have most influence on my area unfortunately condemned to the wasteful Labour run council .......... so there you have it, you can take one set of blinkers off now, but keep your Labour through and through on ..:emoticon-0105-wink:
hopefully your Covid symptoms will abate soon, if not already.. amazingly to date not had Covid or flu for at least last 63 years ..
