Can't believe Reading this our new owner is skint (despite spending) and a crook based on no evidence whatsoever.
Thread Spends more than the KLP fee and is accused of only spending the KLP fee. Used a loan to finance the purchase so must have leverage the buyout and is a crook simply because he's a Turkish businessman seems to be the gist.
Talking of spending, wages and FFP…https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...Forest-set-snatch-Jesse-Lingard-West-Ham.html
All these comments from Grants men stinks of a jealous ex who’s lost access to the kids and is upset the new bloke has a brand new a6.
Borrowing against the club to fund its own purchase. Any evidence of that, or is it that he just raised the finance via a loan? It's only leveraged unless the loan is secured on the club itself. And even if it was leveraged, its not necessarily shady. Its how plenty of clubs are bought.
No. That's often how it is done, but a leveraged buy out is literally just funding a purchase of a company (in this case club) almost solely with debt. The hint is in the name.
Definition of corrupt? Different cultures operate businesses different ways. Never done this before but here goes. FACT
The facts are that we only won games when we camped in our own half, 5 defenders, 2 holding midfielders. Anytime we tried to play expansive we lost. Had injuries to full backs not happened and Grant persisted with 4-3-3 earlier in the season we’d likely have got relegated. These players did their job keeping us up playing a restrictive hard working and defensively sound style. They were never going to be long term options playing the style we are apparently looking to build
Travel expenses are going to be a huge item in the accounts. I can’t remember what he quoted the cost to fill up his plane was (I wanna say £200,000 per journey, but could be massively wrong). If he doesn’t miss a match and then the personal touch for all these transfer targets, that’s a lot of £200,000’s. Mind, I have to pay for my own travel to watch City, surely he should? Hope he pays for his own bloody beer too?
Has it been repaid now? I must have missed that, thought it was going to be repaid but instead the money was used to fund transfers. Perhaps I misunderstood ST. Would be strange for the EFL to care then if we're debt free.
Toasty said short term loan they tried to Repay early but the FA wouldn't allow them until the sale completed, that was the original question mark.
