From what I've seen elsewhere, he's not on a particularly large wage. I thought the push was to get the big earners off the books, so keeping him may not be a problem.
My wife found a tweet of his when he returned to the club saying he was back with his family and bring on next season, so maybe he is happy to be here I think the biggest problem next season is keeping all our strikers happy and engaged, if Sarr wants to stay as well then we could be overloaded with forwards Reading between the lines I think Pedro is seen as the star player but will play a deeper role as a goal scoring midfielder, will give him a chance to shine without the burden of relying on his goals
I thought in the CEO's comments, that Sarr and Dennis's names had been put out there that they are available. Would be prudent of him to keep his head down and then if an offer came in that was right for him and the club he would pick up a transfer bonus from Watford as he has not asked outright for a transfer.
Forest allegedly next club in for Dennis . https://the72.co.uk/2022/07/20/nottingham-forest-looking-at-25m-watford-man-report-reveals Cannot see him going there though .
Danny Rose is training with Tottenham (at his request) and recently turned out as an over-age player for their U-21 team, but he is still a Watford player.
The man clearly has issues. I was at Doncaster when he was with us on loan and the abuse he and his family (in the stand near me) got was absolutely shocking, totally unacceptable. If he's has to put up with that his whole life then I am not surprised. Coming back was always "kill or cure". Alas it looks not to be cure.
Think Barnes against Plymouth, the quantity of abuse rather than the blatant monkey chants, but from our own fans. Trust me, it was a shameful, shameful, episode. First game too. We sat in the car more or less in silence for a lot of the journey. And we won, but that's pretty much all I remember about the game. And bright sunshine all day.
He hasn’t always enjoyed football and wanted to quit a few times - maybe due to the abuse received ..
Kiko to Villarreal. Leaves us short in the full back position. Good move for him but bad timing for us .
My first thoughts were "When did he grow his hair that long?" I doubt it will leave us short - I think the plan has always been to look at defensive replacements. Sad to see him go though.
