Prisoners will be tucking into a wonderfu feast on Xmas Day together with a goodies selection box. Awww how lovely. Oh and steak on New Years Day. I hope those on the outside who are struggling to cope in the economic climate are proud of those lucky enough to cope and provide such generosity to murderers, *****philes, rapists and hardened criminals. Shucks, Im welling up here.

not just the tories tbh As mentioned I worked in the field for a bit, and although there are things like 23 hour lock down etc, even belmarsh has 'rewards' for prisoners some of the long termers actually have the latest gaming equipment etc due to 'good behaviour' I know some will mock etc, but prison is a farce in this country I thought the whole point of prison was 'you are no longer fit for society, so you cant have the freedoms etc of society'
put em 10 to a cell with no beds, tv, music, all the food they can eat or magazines to keep em comfortable and entertained.

a prisoners view Prison life IS easy. i have just come out of a Bcat prison in London and ive done 15months. i had a playstation 2 a dvd player a colour tv and a nice little job so i could buy my goodies at the end of the week also i had a nice menu to choose from for my dinner which i would go and get then go back to my cell and eat it whilst watching the tv. i was scared of going to prison at first but once there i really enjoyed it and it wouldnt bother me if i had to go back. i dont plan to go back any time soon lol but if i did then i know that id be going on holiday again bec it was like Butlins. i have freinds at a C cat prison and they say its even better there! It didnt teach me a lesson it wasnt much of a punishment so i can see why it dosent deter many people. I agree with people when they say it should be hard labour bec when i walked out of them prison gates i should have been thinking WOW im never going back to that place again!
