TBH I would not be against calling it men's football, and tbh that's the way it should be, but the default expectation will be that you're talking about men's football unless stated otherwise, so the reality is unless you label it women's football you're basically creating a false expectation in people. I reckon we might come unstuck. Although they are a different gender they seem to be embodied with the same national inability to deal with pressure as we reach the knockout stages of competitions. Spain have nothing to lose - we do. I reckon we will lose on penalties with Chrissy Waddle or Stuella Pierce skying the decider.
Won't be another demolition job but backing the girls to win. Think tonight is the night they concede their first goal of the tourney and if it is the first goal of the game it will be interesting to see how they react to going behind. 2/3-1 win. Howay the Lasses!
