    Quite possbily.

Perhaps next time they should be told they'll be disqualified if they can't respect each other on the track

It might improve consistency but it would also appear less democratic, which I'm not keen on myself. In an age of so-called 'transparency', the whole stewarding process is still mysterious anyway. I think it does, as ASC says, have a lot to do with early precedents being set but, in the light of the recent deaths in motorsport, we may see more penalties next year, not less.

Schumacher played it tactical, he did not use KERS straight away to keep his tyres in shape and had a much more consistent and faster race compared to Nico, anybody doubting this probably lives in denial at home.
Looks like Lewis vs Massa is spreading to this thread as well. Oh dear.

    That was here long ago!

I have posted I thought Schuey had a good race, got flamed for that too!

Seems whatever you say about any driver gets up the nose of someone........

Or maybe it's cause Hamilton didn't do anything wrong.
On Maldonado, on Massa at Singapore, Lewis stuck one up the inside dangerously and unnecessarily. Not so here. Here, he had every right to be there (despite trying, as he claims, to pull out). The incident here is Massa's fault, just as it was Lewis's fault that he turned in on Kobayashi at Spa.

And believe me, I have been less than happy with Lewis this season; the two of you that recognise me might do well to note my opinions at previous races before decrying me as a Hamilton fanboy.

For what it's worth, I thought Schumi was driver of the day yesterday. 11th to 5th is easily as good as those 18th or 20th into the points drives we see. He's the only veteran in the field worthy of his seat, IMO.

    And I'm not a fan, btw. ;)

Rosberg and Schumacher were doing roughly the same lap times when Rosberg pitted for the last time so he could of pitted later and stayed ahead of Schumacher. Also Rosberg's pitstop was 1.5 seconds slower than Schumacher's.

I agree with all of you in a way, no point getting rattled (me)... He had a fantastic race whether you agree with "how" he gained 5th or not.
His race pace was a second a lap quicker and finishing ahead of Rosberg after driving on older tyres for longer, is pretty top standard in my books (agree with Max here), Chris don't worry mate.. I am not at war with you about anything. ;)

Some people will not forgive and forget. Isn't it time to forgive Schumi his past? I used to despise him and all his dirty tricks but that's well in the past. He's coming good again and he's even humble sometimes! ;)

We cannot change everyone, he is a human being though- he made mistakes and stupid moves on others.
He should be treated as equally as any other driver, that is all I ask - and it does not take much.

Well I doubt I'll ever be a fan but I've really warmed to him lately. Some drivers polarise opinion much more than others and piss people off, it's like that for Lewis too out of today's drivers. Used to be the same for Alonso. It was always the same for Senna.

like being back on the old bbc 606 ay saint ---
fluck me i cringe when i think of some of the things i used to say under provocation to some of those sad clowns on there --

in a strange sort of way i miss some of them , surprised some of them have not turned up here , suppose it is the moderation ( which is no bad thing ) that keeps them away --

I think some did but the mods dealt them a firm hand when they started getting silly and have kept them out ever since.

    Fear the mods!!!!!!!!

    Possibly but:

Felipe crashes at Monaco, Lewis gets the penalty.
Felipe got the puncture at Singapore, Lewis gets the penalty.
Lewis has his front wing broken, Felipe gets the penalty.

Seems to me it's an eye for eye, not just who caused it anymore.
