You need better players backing up Targett max and Wilson. It's no good just saying oh they're OK Squad players these days... They’re not good enough. If Newcastle want top half they'll need much better depth... they know and they'll address it though
We need to improve I don’t deny but until we do we have to accept them. We have shipped out some deadwood and I think more will go before the end of this window. Fraser had a place and so does Miggy. Longstaff has improved since Howe came in. Dummet I agree isn’t good enough now. We also have 4 goalkeepers. So I expect at least one of them to leave.
None of those 3 are good enough if Newcastle want to move fwd. The leagues cracking up this year. I doubt we'll see much of them thankfully because they'll bring in better players in the next 8 weeks Longstaff is the guy that no matter how, many crap seasons he has people will still keep saying he's improved and could come good. Fraser just runs around alot Dummett the leagues moved on he's finished.
It’s slow progress. We can’t shift out all the bad players we wouldn’t have enough to fill the bench. Longstaff is fine for now as backup. Dummett is done agreed. I also think we may still see a RW and a striker. Because it’s clear these are our weakest areas. I also would have another CM but I won’t be greedy just yet.
I'm not saying they can I'm saying those 3 players aren't good enough and I'm not basing it on the last 5 minutes. Newcastle can easily bring in 3 better players in the next 8 weeks then we won't have to worry about players of their ilk unless they get injuries to 2 players ahead of them
I think he did a good job and isn't suited to a passing game. He likes 4 4 2 get it down the wing and cross early.
Doesn’t matter they could put anyone in nets when Wood is on the pitch because they know he won’t get a single shot.
