    Has everyone gone soft?

Potentially 2 days of hotter than normal weather and the country comes to a stop.

Too hot to be in an air conditioned office today. Let’s go lay in the sun on a beach.

If I was healthy I'd be out there but sadly, not able.
Looked at Wednesday's weather and not looking too bad. so hopefully i,ll be able to go to Zook;s funeral and the night match.

We’re supposed to be up to 34° in Manchester around 6-7 o’clock.

I certainly do, on what turned out to be the hottest day of that year myself and a couple of dozen more did the Lyke Wake Walk, Osmotherley to Ravenscar - a piece of piss for the fit and lightweight 22 year old me!

    Loads will
what they may fail to remember is that although it felt hot at the time it was 3 degrees colder than is forecast today and 6 degrees colder than is forecast tomorrow (UK not Hull)
It's fine saying you're OK of course, but some more vulnerable people won't be.

The current heatwave is expected to last a few days, in 1976 it was weeks of over 30 and the months before and after the peak were hot too.

I've experienced 125 degrees F in the shade (50 degrees C) in both Ibiza and the Canaries. Now that's ****ing hot.

In 1976 the temperature was the same as a hot day in Greece, tomorrow the temperature here will be above that of an average day in the Sahara Desert, which is really quite hot.

That said, I was once in Las Vegas during a heatwave and it hit 46 degrees, which really was unbearable.

Of course being an average there are cooler times in the Sahara. But they have a couple of months where it doesn’t dip below 42c not a couple of days where it is that high. They also have colder nights at times than we do.,Heaven knows how the railways here and others would cope with that.
