Ozan’s difference in the Malaga game compared to the Fenerbache game was like night and day. I think the latter 2 will be fine in 2 weeks, Ozan hopefully get his first full 90 at Bradford
Maybe, being new to the English league, they want to make sure they are doing the right things, to avoid making a mistake. Very much how Tan works, cover's every possibility.
I’m much more inclined to take note of our Turkish media brethren unfortunately, they seem to be more credible sources for us these days.
Meyer would have been decent at championship level. I remember his name popping up years ago as "one to look out for". Not sure he's lived up to his potential but still would have been very good for us in that no. 10 role. Funny, that's 2 no 10s we've lost to bloody Millwall..
If we are risking falling foul of FFP, or getting close to our ceiling, then it's because we are looking at spending £39m over and above our income in a rolling 3 year period. Those are the FFP rules. Unless we're planning on spending up to that ceiling then FFP by its nature doesn't come into play. That's a lot more money than just the KLP fee being spent (which in itself would be net zero in FFP terms) and suggests the board are looking at investing close to the maximum they are allowed to within the rules - which is what they alluded to when they took over, citing FFP headroom as one of the main reasons they bought us. Without knowing contract details and signing on fees and projected turnover for the coming years, then no one outside the club or FA can realistically know what we've got left to play with, but consider a 'Seri type' signing could be on 30k a week which is a £4.5m + liability over 3 years - excluding any signing fees, there's only so many of those we can make within headroom, despite it being a 'free' transfer. It's also worth remembering that loans can cost 7 figures at this level also, so aren't always a cheap option in the long run.
I laughed when I saw the words ‘bolster’ and ‘strike force’. That boy would be better suited to helping out in the canteen.
