I'd say it's not his fault. He was bought, and could have fetched decent money in championship a few years ago but his wages put pay to that. Ashley wouldn't give him away when he thought he could get some cash and he's been caught in the middle.
I agree to an extent. But he could have gone out on loan. I think he may go this window. A good chunk of the deadwood has left the building.
I think it will be another loan but he'll go. I also reckon Murphy may well get shifted on somewhere, Manquillo may get shifted and Darlow.
Yes that would be good for them and for us. Then it’s Lascelles. For some reason I think Shelvey might up his game next season.
Sounds about right. We probably only have a certain amount left and EH has probably said he wants 3 more players.
Think that’s unlikely. Probably just letting the world know we do have a good option and won’t be held to ransom. At least that what I hope. The alternative of ACTUALLY relying on Wilson/Wood for the coming season would be incredibly stupid. Would mean we’d then have to pay a ****ing fortune in January - see the aforementioned Wood for more detail.
Reading on the training, Wilson has been doing separate sessions to avoid the intensity. I mean, but a ****ing striker for ****s sake.
They tried to buy one, but unfortunately bloody PSG gazumped them. It might be that the player/as they want they just can't get this window.
His comments on creativity would suggest it. But I think a CF is vital because Wilson will play 50% of it, at best. And even then he’s getting older, 31 now, same as wood (or thereabouts) and the idea of playing Max (0 goals from CF) or Joelinton (2 from about 50) is either misdirection or misguided.
