He’d be better off waiting a few months. The nature of the Premier League is there’s at least six clubs who believe they should be top 4, therefore there’ll always be one or two managers under pressure by October / November. Can see at least one of the big clubs sacking at the World Cup break, st which point Poch can probably name whatever price he likes and they’ll still go for him.
I don't want him coming back here as it would mean we've started the season really badly and Ralph has been sacked.
Poch wouldn't go to Arsenal even if the job became available. His connections with Spurs run too deep.
Poch has the luxury of waiting for the right job to come to him. I don't think his time at PSG is a major black mark on his record, so with any major managerial changes he'd be on the shortlist. Allegri might not have a long leash; despite all his past success, Juve wasn't great last year and it is Italian football. He wouldn't be an irrational successor for Pep if he does indeed leave City after the season. Simeone is remaining with Atletico for.the moment but speculation remains that he's going to depart at some point. Barca is...Barca he should probably avoid.
This would be a very 'moneyball' (the new variety where its actually no object) move! Could actually imagine this happening.
Northern Ireland 2-0 down at St Mary's. They think they are the 'home' team and are defending like Saints.

Was randomly watching the South Korea/Japan 2002 World Cup today, and specifically all the dodgy decisions that went Korea's way. Can't believe it was so bad. You'd expect that in the 70s or something, but bloody hell. Just makes you wonder how many tournaments have been manipulated by FIFA/UEFA. Incidentally the referee from the Korea vs Italy game later got sentenced to 10 years in prison for trying to smuggle something like 6kg of heroin into the US. No chance he was corrupt then lol.
England have been superb tonight. Wetting my appetite as taking my daughter to see them at St Mary’s on Friday. Beth Mead’s performance unreal.
Looking at how gappy the crowd is for a 'sell out', it makes me feel like I will have some frustration watching a gappy St Marys whilst not being able to buy tickets. Regardless, England are doing pretty well!
I actually think that club may be in with a good chance of collapsing in the coming years. They’ve sold off future and current revenue streams for payday loans, burnt bridges with good players who want to be there and not done anything to actually change their way of operating. All this leads to is more elections, more new leadership at the club and they will be even more tied up than before. They still have great young players. Why on Earth are they ****ing around with Dembele and entertaining the idea of signing new first team players? Just accept that this crisis necessitates that they will not be competitive for the next five years. This is fixable. Just not through any of the measures that they are actually taking.
Future and current revenue streams? I haven’t had chance to read the article. Does it outline them? Edit : I assumed it would be paywalled but isn’t. Some crazy gambling going on
Yeah they’ve sold a large part of their merchandise arm and also made 2 large sales of future tv money payments. It’s a lunacy.
