“Some might get 45 minutes tomorrow, we have to see, but again it’s the period of the year where we have to be really careful with different things.
Palace missing lots of players aren't they and with us changing the team 3 times it's hardly gonna be another spectacle
1-0 HT and another injury. Ox down and had to be replaced. probabaly minor but as per no risks are taken. 45mins for the team selected and clearly too long for ox. NEW TEAM Davies; Alexander-Arnold, Van den Berg, Van Dijk, Robertson; Keita, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Nunez, Carvalho.
Palace team was Guaita, Clyne, Andersen, Ward, Mitchell, Milivojevic, Phillips, Rak-Sakyi, Edouard, Mateta, Ayew. btw. not a sell out crowd cos well... palace innit.
2-0 now. salah shows what he could do with a new contract. beats a couple and curls one home in classic salah position.
prob about 45k in? should have played Liverpool v liverpool reserves and there would have been more in. there is a two bob cup for this **** as well. Standard chartered want a photo op to go with the shirt deal announcement of 50mil a year. If they want someone to hold a bit of plastic before chucking it in the bin for 50mil... fair enough.
Took a huge deflection and the keeper then pushed it in after it went straight at him… but was nice link up play to get the chance.
It's amazing how the keeper had made about 7 or 8 saves and flows an easier one. Preseason. Still 45mins in means we will ramp up big time in Austria
What a difference four days makes. We looked more ourselves although still not playing at full steam. Klopp knows what he's doing. Palace quite poor. Not sure why they kept flopping all over the place. I was never convinced with Van den Berg but he looked good today. I love Thiago.

The 19-year-old looks primed to return to the side this time around, however, as the early star of pre-season. Elliott was deployed in the right-sided No. 8 role against Palace, much in the way Pep Guardiola uses Bernardo Silva, and he looked at home, offering something different to when Jordan Henderson plays there.
So we have a friendly on Thursday. Then one one following Wednesday before community shield on the Saturday and pre season is done. not a whole lot of time to get players ready when think so far, most of first team are only playing 30 minutes. Assume will step up big time in next 2 games and will see less kids and more first team getting 60mins plus
Yeah it's pretty short. There's another friendly the day after community shield for fans at anfield to see our reserves. It'll be very intensive training camps
Twitter clip of Nunez performance v palace going round. Doesn’t look great. Air shot, header backwards to palace defender, fouls guy then passes the ball out of play. let’s hope getting all the **** ups out the way before season starts
Haven't seen it, but he has been with the squad 1 week, played a total of something like 60 minutes. Let's not forget Lionel Voronin in pre season
Strasbourg at Anfield on 31 July as well. If you count the Charity Shield as a warm up game, that makes 6 preseason games.
It's on YouTube as well. There's a fit up job happening with some folk desperate to call him Andy Carroll. We saw him for benfica against us. There's no such worries.
