HDM saying 'its not because of a lack of effort, just an horrific set of circumstances' Another 'Brave Hull..' headline coming up. 60-0
Just after that observation was this gem - “The game has gone a little flat now Wigan still lead 50-0.” It is hard not to laugh.
Reporter blaming it on anything and everything but what reason can he give to let one of their players score a record SEVEN Super League tries in a game. I'm not laughing, honest.
Did you know that the name for the American red robin , the one that is bob, bob, bobbing along is turdus migratorius? Could always sing “ Come on you turds…” 60-0 is equivalent to a 9 or 10 nil defeat for City, something none of us have experienced, worst in my team were a 7-0 at West Ham in the League Cup and a 7-2/defeat at Brentford. Those levels of defeat are becoming a regular occurrence at FC. You must be wondering how you lost to them last week.
But the 'world famous black and white irregular hooped shirts' are to be worn by Nigeria's national team according to the HDM. FC are involved in developing a hub for RL in Nigeria, of course it's 'world class' . You too might have received a badly written email from the Nigerian RL asking for your bank details too.
The rugby league discussion programme, the one about the oval ball that unites us all in our love for the game, fronted by that role model Paul Cook (remember him fleeing the police in his Fiat Panda because of his fame?) should be interesting listening,
The players are trying to **** the coach off, Pearson ****ed up sacking Radford, funny how they upped their game for the Derby
We lost to them last week because the video ref ruled a try not a try in the last minute. It was a good close game which could've gone either way. Plus they upped their game for their Cup Final.
I’m wondering if Wigan has some sort of hex over Hull, both rugby teams get regularly rolled over by large scores and then… Grant McCann’s finest hour!
That Wigan game was the worst I've ever seen us play. We definitely threw that game. Why? I don't know, but it was blindingly obvious.
I had. Apparently remembering things clearly from years ago better than more recent things are early signs of dementia. As I found out with my dear mum when I thought she had done well at some tests but the results in fact were concerning.
I was sat with my Dad in HRI, whilst a Doctor asked him questions relating to his memory. One of the questions was, when did world two end. Dad replied, 1904. That's just one of those things that are funny, but not funny at all.
I remember a consultant explaining the 'onion' analogy of the to me, the outer layers are our recent memories which we loose first & then sadly as the condition progresses what is left are the older memories that we don't loose as such, just not being used, by the end my gran believed she was a schoolgirl, though 'luckily' she was happy.
Excellent post, Ron. I'm happy she was happy, some know the state they're in and become depressed, which only adds to their woes.
