Tempted to hear if there's an attempt to defend this "Actually, the keeper had a concussion and was told not to dive for the ball..."
Could have been a proper local hero at Brentford. Could have made a difference there. No idea what United will be like this season. Ironically perhaps better without Ronaldo and Pogba because of their allegedly divisive influence.
I’m not surprised he didn’t renew with Brentford but I am surprised he’s gone Utd, feels like he could’ve done better but Utd aren’t complaining, they get a top class player. They’ll love him. Looks like Ronaldo may be staying, Chelsea were seemingly his only possible destination and they’ve ruled themselves out. Real don’t need him, Barca can’t afford him, Juve wanted him off the wage bill so he won’t go back there, Bayern ruled themselves out and PSG also don’t need him, albeit neutrals would probably love a Messi-Ronaldo team.
Not sure if he’s training now but he hadn't reported for training when they were initially due back and he wasn’t included in their pre-season tour squad, so I reckon he’s had some stern chats with their hierarchy. Only way he likely leaves is if he massively reduces his wage demands to potential suitors, on half a mil a week at Utd.
This has been reported as some sort of family emergency. Could be bullshit, of course, but I think that would be out of character given his past.
Maybe I’m cynical but definitely calling bullshit on it. He posted a pic of himself the other day working out with the caption “hard work”.
Yeah, from the Portugal teams training centre. He's at home with his family butt keeping as fit as he can.
He turned up at the Portuguese national team's facilities on the first day back. They're in Lisbon and his missus and family live in the area, apparently. No reason for him not to be training, even if someone's ill or he's having marriage issues.
Yeah I'm sure most people going through a family emergency have time to post a shirtless pic on instagram talking about hard work...
Eriksen ain't done anything wrong in my eyes. I was pissed with his attitude back in 2019 but tbh he wants to play at a high level in the prem and we were not in for him so his choices were Liverpool (weren't interested), City (weren't interest), Chelsea (don't think he'd have gone there but they weren't interested), Arsenal (never gonna happen) or United. Genuinely can't see what's disgusting tbh
£100,000 a week to play for Spurs with no fee but Winks and Lucas going the other way. Everyone’s a winner
Neymar’s odds of joining City have been slashed. Works for me. Although Lo Celso and Ndombele before Lucas to be fair. The day those two and Winks go it’ll be jelly and ice cream time.
