Don't think you need to start worrying there.

These players and others were coming in before the KLP money.

My former next door neighbour showed me a Magnum handgun. Barrell must have been 8 inches long. Not very accurate apparently. Scared the **** out of me. If it was Tuesday. It was Tuesday.

Wonder how many tickets Bournemouth had to sell to get them into all the trouble they're in?

Can debate as much as anyone wants but we are not Bournemouth or any other club and the people upstairs dealing with things are not fools by a longshot and would not put the club into a difficult situation.

They are prepared to go 2/3 years without promotion although they would like it this season, they know the numbers.

I'm not putting too much expectation on this season, It's all well and good bringing a lot of good individual players in, but they have to gel as a team, it can take well over a season for that to happen.

Agreed. We're a long way from FFP ceiling, they know how much they are prepared to invest, though whether this level of spending is sustainable long term will depend on increasing revenues, be it promotion, Turkish/overseas market, matchday/merch income, profits on players etc...

They always said they bought us due to the FFP headroom, so they were always going to invest heavily to add value to their asset, whether KLP went this window or not.

I don't see any evidence to suggest they haven't got a pot to play with as some seem to assume simply because that's been the case under previous ownerships. Until there is any evidence, its just the usual negativity which surrounds some of the City fanbase.

Will have to rifle through a few facts and figures to see what response that triggers.

Its not negativity it's common sense. Someone posted a list of a dozen or so clubs in our league who we can expect to finish above because they have spent less then us. Rotherham were the only club on the list who attract lower crowds then us. We have sold over 12,000 memberships apparently, which is a big increase on previous seasons, but we need to sell more then that. I'd like to see a 'Dare to Dream' campaign started to gather momentum and really build up our fanbase starting for the friendly at home to Leicester next Wednesday. The prices for that one are incredibly cheap and it would be great to see the ground with 20,000 in it, especially to greet the new owners and the new players we have. That shouldn't be too difficult, we attracted a crowd of similar size for a pre season friendly with Leeds a few seasons back and it was four times the price to get in then the club are charging on Wednesday. Its all very good expressing support and interest on social media, let's all try and persuade a mate or a family member to attend and more importantly get there yourselves.

No ones denying that revenues need to increase along with our ambition, though I suspect the business plan is to develop a number of revenue streams we've not previously had access to - as well as, but not limited to home support.

A fanbase attracting gates of 18/20,000 every home game makes developing all the other revenue streams a lot easier.
