I don't think he has played a great deal of men's footy for a 24yr old, maybe that is the issue with how robust his body is? Just guessing like, I'm nee expert. I remember Gerrard having similar issues but he was much younger, maybe 18/19
Yeah possibly, some players just stay too long at U23/Reserve level. The top teams are getting better now at selling/loaning players out at a younger age.
We need to do that much more, the likes of Ellis Taylor and Johnson should have 3/6 month loans next season to see how they get on.
Agreed, hopefully Sohna and Carney will go out on loan. I dont mind Johnson staying in the U23 for a year but then him and Kelly need loaned out next season at the latest
C'est la vie these days. God help us when we get back to PL - heard some horrific prices, especially for away fans. Be interesting to see what we get charged for away games this season given we usually sell out.....
They'll all be expecting the Sunderland demand will defy the cost of living.....and they'll be right.
If Everton decide they don't want him then he may have to think about not pricing himself out of a move due to wages. Given his injury record clubs that could afford his current wages may be reluctant to buy him. Therefore, it may left for him to consider reducing his demands or be stuck at Everton for a year until his last year of contract runs out and he becomes a free agent.
I agree but his agent is touting him everywhere. Spoke to Brum yesterday, but he wants to come here, its if KLD sees him as to much of an expensive risk.
Twat. Have this picture in my head now- KLD steps forward, greeted by "Alreet Cyril, so how stripey are these new shirts ganna be like?" In fact, double twat!
Good grief, our 'takeover situation' compared to the nightmare scenario at Birmingham ... ... I'm waiting for a train and was sent this link, the names man https://almajir.net/2022/07/15/bcfc-what-happens-now-with-the-takeover/
Pretty painful reading for Blues fans that. Makes you think with KLD it's better the devil you know (not that i'm calling him a devil like!).
