Possibly but when has that ever really worked out well.... We are rudderless mate, its very concerning in these uncertain times.
I get your point, and its just a suggestion, as more of the same, ie no credible opposition to Tory rule is a soul destroying concept.
I would like to see an even stronger coalition with the Green Party and the Lib Dems involved. Not sure where SNP are heading tbh.
The SNP are on the verge of turning Scotland into the next Northern Ireland. I don't mind the Greens or the Lib Dems. I vote for the Lib Dems in the local elections. Not sure they'd be any good running a country, though.

It’s s hite now but I reckon the future is even more frightening with the rabble that want to run the country. I’ve no idea how to vote, let’s hope they turn it round before the next election.
He seems to have adopted the Boris Johnson/Trump tactic of continually making outrageous claims knowing that you can fool some of the people some of the time and the more gullible the whole of the time.
I think Starmer is alright. He's dignified and well meaning. He comes across as a pushover though and I'm not sure he's right for leading a country in hard times. The problem is I can't see anybody in any of the parties, that stands out.
He's dull as dishwater though. For all I'm wanting competence, you've got to have at least some personality and an ability to connect with the electorate.
The reality with the Labour Party is we won’t know their real policies till an election is announced. Johnson saying ‘where are your policies’ is for effect. If I was Starmer I’d say ‘announce an election and I’ll show you’. I’ll judge them when I see them compared to the others. I’m probably very left policy wise - at least on most things- I just can’t stand the momentum twats and how they go on, nor the ‘take the middle ground’ stuff. Just do the right thing whatever ground.
If they’ve turned it round by the election, good luck to them , if they haven’t it’s time to choose somebody new. That’s when we need to see the new policies from all parties, none give me confidence to be honest.
You've got to put your policies out there for scrutiny. If the Tories nick them, it's another win. Even with the caveat that it's a policy under development. Blair and co put it all out there, they'd thought it through and had an answer for any criticisms. That's how you become a government in waiting.
Don’t think that’s entirely true. They put them out there at the appropriate strategic time. It’s pointless doing anything other than that it changes nowt. They’ve done it with some policies at the right time and it has changed policy. The government with the power of detailed information just rips it to shreds on the basis of having extensive knowledge.
The Tory Party currently remind me of Sunderland over the last decade ... ... a stream of useless managers failing to last, endless changes of backroom staff and money being thrown away. Both Johnson's had loads of great sounding catchphrases but very little substance. The country is now hoping we chance upon an Alex Neil who can get a grip and sort the job out ... ... after seeing the campaigning from the current applicants I'd say we're stuck in L1 for quite some time.
