You seem to have highlighted something here without intention, 50% of the candidates are female (actual women by nature) and 50% are of ethnic minority background. When was the last time Woke Labour had a Woman or Ethnic minority as a leader?
Frost's hatchet job on Dormant was intended to set up a Rishi/Truss final that the latter would win. Then we can fight on two fronts Ukraine and the EU. Dormant should have the Obese Middle Aged Woman tied up, as well as the Rug Muncher one.
It’s going to be the geezer-bird vs the Bollywood bloke, to be voted on by that collection of the world’s most tragic weirdos; the Conservative Party membership. Can’t wait.
The Bengal Lord snooty that printed money and ****ed the economy will be installed . Our first Indian billionaire PM . Perhaps we can introduce a caste system like India and let our poor slave class starve to death on the streets .
In India if your father was from a poor underclass the children aren't allowed to go to school they are already chosen as a toilet cleaner. It's still possible to work hard and succeed in a capitalist Western country. Not easy but possible. My biggest issue with Sunak is he's handing himself 3 cost of living payments because he owns 3 homes despite his father in law being worth over £3 billion . He and his wife are in the top 20 richest people in the country and she hasn't taken British citizenship to avoid tax. He's just a Goldman Sachs ex Banker spiv **** . Born in Southampton He probably has a servant that wipes his curry soiled arse
For the record I can't stand any of the 8 potential candidates. They are all terrible. Amazing that Labour can't capitalise on this mess and will no doubt concentrate on pregnant men and rejoining the EUROPEAN UNION. I doubt Labour could even make an 8 person short list but even if it did an all women all brown faced shortlist , they would still end up with a white man as leader
Tory leadership: Red Wall Tory voters back Penny Mordaunt, and give devastating verdict on her competitors It is the first time that research has been carried out during the Tory leadership race to see how the leading candidates would compete against Sir Keir in an election. When the group was shown a video of the Labour leader, nearly half could not name him but recognised him. When asked to describe him, they said he was “closer to ordinary people” and would “stand up for the working class”, but overall they said he was “a bit bland” After seeing a clip of Mr Sunak’s leadership campaign launch, every member of the group could name him, but despite the instant recognition they were hostile towards the former Chancellor. One member of the group, a mother of two who works for Nat West Bank, said: “I don’t have any faith in him whatsoever.” Others were quick to highlight his wealth, describing him as “out of touch”, “too slick” and, simply, “minted”, although there was praise of his business acumen. But the opinions shifted when they were confronted with a video of Ms Mordaunt, the new favourite in the leadership race, when they heard her speak they warmed to her more than Mr Sunak. “When she’s speaking it sounds like it’s coming from the heart a bit more, especially compared with Rishi. He sounds a bit too slick, and Starmer sounds too robotic,” one of the group, a quality engineer for a manufacturer, said. Compared with Ms Truss, the group were unanimous that Ms Mordaunt had “more going for her”. “She has more energy about her,” said one member, a cleaner and carer. “Liz Truss just seems a bit cold.” When asked who they would vote for between Ms Mordaunt and Sir Keir, over half of the group said they would vote for the Conservative, with the others equally split between undecided and Labour. By far the worst performer in the eyes of the focus group was the Foreign Secretary. After being shown Ms Truss’s campaign video, all recognised her, but the consensus of her as a politician was brutal. “She looks devious,” said the engineer. “She looks untrustworthy, just looks too much like a politician – even more than Rishi.” Another, who runs his own mobile disco company, said: “She’s a bit like the [John Major] Spitting Image puppet. There’s just so much grey around her characteristics. She comes across like a Theresa May-type character.” https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/worl...pc=U531&cvid=762e3c4a677d48459b391e2861474b36
