I don’t agree. I think they played the situation. Maybe even knew PSG where interested and tried it. Reims knew they where onto a winner with us being interested but the players agent ****ed it all up. PSG then came in knowing we walked away so they could play hardball with Reims. And Reims said piss off.
For the record I hope Ekitikes signs for PSG and we go and loan him for a season. That would be hilarious.
I’ve always said we wanted him. That he would be a solid addition. But when the agent got greedy. That’s when it all went tits up. The NUFC tax isn’t happening. It appears our owners are not being taken for a ride. And I 100% agree with them.
And the agent ****ed it all up. We offered 15x his current salary. His agent wanted more for himself. Our club said **** off you greedy twat. And the rest is history. Ekitike now sits and waits for PSG quite rightly so as a dream and I can’t blame the lad for wanting that move.

I think we lost patience and walked away. For the record and again I’ve said he is one of the best talents in world football. But I just don’t like how the agent has played us. Find the date I posted that. And then you show me a single worldwide post dated on or before that that suggested anyone else is interested. At that point no one else was interested. For all YOU know PSG became interested after we showed an interest. Can you confirm that they where actually interested at that point. Actual proof in your vault other than there “might” be? You have no proof. Show me some proof rather than absolute rubbish guesswork and I will yield. Rather than say “someone else was interested because you guessed it” show me some proof. Or tell me right now. Has anyone signed him yet.
