He got a partial scholarship to Winchester.
He later got a Fulbright scholarship to study at Stanford.
That was after working for a few years for Goldman Sachs and a couple at a hedge fund.

Well look at that, now the self-important headmistress who can't tell the difference between a Budweiser slogan and a Churchill quote is trotting out the "Look how diverse the Tory candidates are!" line which definitely doesn't make it look like Tory HQ is telling their outliers to push that Narrative

So, quick question about these oh-so diverse candidates: can it be said that any of them have done a single positive thing for their respective communities, or are they people who bring up their heritage when trying to sound relatable and/or dismiss criticism of themselves as "racism" as a result of their kicking the ladder down behind them after getting chummy enough with the Etonian WASPs?

Look at the diversity of the ultra-relatable Sunak's press team!

Cruella saying the quiet part out loud. Gee, I wonder why Breitbart and InfoWars are firmly behind her...?

Obviously disabled kids are the wrong kind of diverse...

Just once can somebody tell one of his acolytes who howls about "betrayal" just how he got the job in the first place? Here's a hint: Theresa May didn't gift it to him

Funny how, in all the waffle about diversity, I don't see any non-psychopath on the ticket

Or, you know, mention of Ukraine or the cost of living crisis, but so much time and effort devoted to attracting the votes of JK Rowling and Graham Linehan...

BMW has sparked debate after offering an online subscription to turn on heated front seats in its cars in the UK for £15 per month.
A monthly heated steering wheel subscription costs £10:

    This **** should be illegal.
Trying to turn everything into a subscription is toxic and ludicrous.
I await microtransactions and loot boxes for the next generation of German cars.

Yes it really is a disturbing trend. As if you won't be able to own anything in the future, just rent it. Already serious in the business software sector, where it's very difficult to buy some products outright.

I would force by law that systems architecture must
"black box" all major components, and if I buy the licences
for all the components (for a given deployment env) , then
I get to choose how/where I deploy them.

If I choose to deploy on vendor infrastructure, then that
should result in a reduction in licence costs.

Just what we need, another Tory it'd take a team of SAS commandos to get out of No10

Which makes it more ironic she wanted to make it hard for people to get in...
